This technique is so simple and has been around for years. I think I actually learned this in high school art class with a piggy. I just thought I would share my step-by-step process.
(If you're not a OldeMoonlane Friends Group member on FB here is the link as I do give a short video demo in the group for group members.

I can imagine these as ornaments on an Easter Tree can't you!
Step#1- I used a cereal box for my cardboard. I opened the plastic candy container and traced the outline of each one onto the cardboard. Next, I freehand traced a second line about 1/4" on the outside of the original tracing line. (except for the bottom).
Step #2 Cut the outside line. I glued the bunny to the cardboard with Dollar tree glue lining it up with the inner line.
Step#3- I painted 2 coats of black acrylic paint on both sides of each section and let dry. I had no troubles with it sticking to the plastic.
Step #4- Using a mop brush and Deco Art Silver Dazzling Metallics I dry brush over the black. Next, I dry brushed a light coat of cinnamon on top.
Step#5- I glued on a pink ribbon bow. I used Spray Glitter in silver (I buy it at wal-mart) it is a 2 in 1 glitter sealer spray.
Blessings!
