I woke in the wee hours of the morning around 2 am which is my usual as I am a non sleeper with visions of making a cutsie pumpkin girl.  I was out and about yesterday shopping for supplies and I picked up some really cute fabric.  I wanted to make her a skirt but as most times when I start sculpting  I end up doing something totally different as I have so many visions flashing in my mind.  Maybe this is why I don't sleep much who knows.  I do know it runs in the family as we are all non sleepers.  I guess I was in a Witchy kinda mood today because my cutsie pumpkin girl turned into a witch and I never did use that cute fabric.  Tomorrow is another day...  I am often ask how long does it take to me to make a piece well, this one took me 13 hours from start to finish as I was on a roll and just had to complete her.
How do I come up with the names to my pieces.  Most times it is a remembrance of something or sometimes they just pop into my head.   "Cotton Tooth"  yes that's her name and how did I come to that conclusion???   I have a big old gap in my front teeth (Which is why I hardly ever smile for pictures) and my not so funny children thought years ago it was funny to name me Winnifred Cotton Tooth LOL.  They really think their funny so when I ask hubby what do you think I should call her??  The first thing that came to his mind was "Cotton Tooth" so "Cotton Tooth" it is.  Below you will find her before and after painting pics and I have 2 sets of completed pics.  I usually take many photos tell me which is your favorite I couldn't decide on this one.   I will probably list her sometime on Tuesday in my ETSY shop as I think I'd better go spend sometime with hubby for the remainder of the Labor Day weekend.  Thanks for stopping by and if you like Winnifred be sure to leave me a comment.
Blessings!
Wendy
