Merry & Happy

10/27/2017

,Before long the snow will be falling and I am thinking of snowmen today.  Meet "Merry" the merry little snowman and her friend "Happy" the little mouse.  I originally was going to sculpt this into a more colorful and beachy themed snowman ,but like always my mind goes to so many ideas that I never know what I will end up with.  I have one idea then it changes midway thru.  I like decorating with snowmen in the winter months, then I can leave them out usually here in PA till February as the snow still blows.

This piece is actually 16" tall.  I have mounted the snowman on a old weathered piece of barn lumber.  This piece is very glittery and shimmery all over.  Happy likes to hang out in Merry's hat and they are out collecting their Christmas tree.  It is very woodsie looking.  The  accents are a pine spray with little logs and pine cones.  Merry has a little handkerchief in her pocket, just in case.  I usually antique most of my pieces but I left this one more colorful.  I didn't want the antiquing to drown out the vibrant aqua blue icy accents.  What a Happy little couple this pair is!

I love their little message for this Holiday season!

May you find you your days always Merry and Happy!
Blessings!

Did your neighbor get the cookies? Harmless joking (pranks) with friends and neighbors can be fun! I’m glad that Frosty got his head back.🙂

Your little story is too cute. I love all your work but snowmen and frogs are my favorites. Will you be doing any snowmen patterns for your etsy shop?
